With a name like this you would probably expect to find a pond at the back of a Farm. But this water is a former gravel pit that is very well kept and maintained. The pegs are very well kept with gravel to fish from. A number of pegs are suitable for disabled anglers. The water is lined with good tree cover and also offers good features in the margins to target such as lilies and overhanging bushes. The water is also very deep in places, and these can hold the fish when the temperature drops. An excellent place that gets the attention it deserves, especially at the price. Carp to 30lbs

This water is absolutely massive! Covering nearly 20 acres in size, but more importantly there are only 62 marked out pegs. At one end of the water there is massive growth of reeds, which mark the start of the nature reserve and a no fishing rule. The water has some good depths with places dropping down to beyond 15ft. These deeper holes are the better places to target the large pike that run up to 32 lb when the weather drops colder. The average depth is between 5 and 10 ft throughout. The water is an old clay pit and as a result carries colour at all times of the year, which can assist with fishing during the winter months...

There are over 40 pegs to fish from and they are well spread out but don’t forget your trolley!!! There are 43 pegs to choose from which are platformed and most have some sort of feature to fish to. The water has good depths of up to 10 ft in places. What the water does offer is the chance to catch some big chub (up to 6lb) and also ide up to 3lb.
