Tzaneen DamInformationSatellite View Tzaneen Dam, previoulsy known as Fanie Botha Dam is located on the Letaba River, just outside the town of Tzaneen on the extreme Northeast lowveld of South Africa. The dam is located in a scenic part of the country and is stocked with Florida strain Largemouth Bass.A severe drought some years ago saw the dam almost empty and Bass alsmost die out but adequate rains since then have seen the fish bounce back.
